Hotel Frohsinn is located directly on the ski slopes of San Cassiano in Alta Badia and offers different types of rooms to meet all the different needs of our guests.
The Zingerle family offers its guests interesting services, starting with a rich, generous and always varied breakfast. Great attention is paid to the genuineness of the products, always fresh and seasonal: freshly squeezed juices, cakes and a wide choice of both salty and sweet products. On request it is possible to prepare a breakfast for celiacs: please let us know in advance, we will take care to satisfy your requests! And after a funny day on the spectacular slopes of Alta Badia, there is nothing better than relaxing at the hotel bar to enjoy a slice of cake with a coffee or an aperitif with friends accompanied by some snacks to recharge your energy. Even in summer our terrace invites you to relax and enjoy the view of the surrounding Dolomites, sipping a refreshing drink after a long walk on one of the many hiking trails in the surroundings.
There is also a private outdoor car park, a convenient ski and toboggan depot with boot warmers and a shed for bicycles and motorbikes with safety lock.

Rooms
Our Frohsinn hotel offers different types of rooms to satisfy every request of our guests. All our rooms are furnished in alpine style, with wooden furniture that gives a warm and welcoming atmosphere to the rooms. All rooms have a balcony with a view on the majestic Lavarella mountain, except for the rooms on the top floor with attic ceiling.
Family Rooms
2-5 people
To accommodate large families or groups of friends on holiday, we provide Family rooms. They are composed of a main room with a double bed and a single bed with private bathroom, in front of or adjacent to the main room there is a dependent double room. The bathroom of the two rooms is shared, while the sleeping area remains completely separate.
Prices
Summer and winter season
Prices are indicated per person and day. During the main season, stays are only from Saturday to Saturday.
In any case, do not hesitate to request a personalized offer, in which, where possible, we could take into account your particular needs.
Discounts for children:
- up to 4 years: 50%
- from 4 to 7 years old: 30%
- from 7 up to 10 years old: 20%
- from 10 to 14 years old: 10%
All prices include:
VAT, outdoor private parking, daily cleaning of bedrooms and bathrooms, bed linen with weekly change, towels with midweek change, WI-FI connection, ski/bike room with a ski boot dryer.
To the indicated prices will be added the local tourist tax of Euro 1.40 per person (over 14 years old) per day.
Reservation and confirmation deposit:
The reservation becomes binding upon payment of the deposit agreed and the receipt of our written confirmation. The deposit can be paid by bank transfer to:

Payment modes:
The accommodation bill can be paid in the following ways:
- in cash for total amounts of less than 1999.99 Euro;
- by bank transfer (in this case the entire payment for your stay should be transferred before your arrival);
- by credit card (VISA, Maestro, Mastercard, Euro Card) and debit card;
In case of late arrival, early departure or smaller number of guests, the total price of the reservation will be billed.
Cancellation policy:
Unforeseen circumstances may always happen and a cancellation is unpleasant for both parties. The right of withdrawal is not provided by the "Consumer Code". Nevertheless, we offer the following cancellation terms:
- if the cancellation is communicated 90 days before arrival: loss of the confirmation deposit;
- if the cancellation is communicated between 90 and 30 days before arrival: 40% of the total price is charged;
- if the cancellation is communicated between 30 and 9 days before arrival: 70% of the total price is charged;
- less than 8 days before arrival, late arrivals, lower number of guests, early departures or no-show: 90% of the total price is charged;
Check-in and check-out:
Check-in: from 2 p.m. till 8 p.m. (after 8 p.m. upon prior agreement).
Check-out: till 10 a.m.
Travel insurance:
We recommend you to contact your insurance company and insure your journey against cancellation, early termination or late arrival.
Pets:
Upon prior agreement, we accept pets (no puppies) at the price of 10.00 Euro per pet per day, provided that their owners never leave their pets alone in the rooms and undertake entire responsibility for any damage caused by their pets.
No smoking:
Smoking is not allowed in all rooms.
Furniture:
We ask our guests to take good care of the high quality furniture and the fine textiles of our house.

In our hotel in San Cassiano everything is easy to reach! Arrive, leave your car in our car park and forget the traffic and stress: here everything is just a stone's throw away!
The B&B Frohsinn is the only structure directly on the ski slopes in San Cassiano, you can leave the house directly with your skis on your feet and reach the ski lifts of Piz Sorega to start the fun on the snow of Alta Badia. In addition, the village centre is only a 5-minute walk away and here you will find typical local bars, restaurants and shops. In summer, mountain and hiking enthusiasts have plenty of choice between challenging hiking trails, climbing the peaks of the Dolomites or pleasant walks through the alpine pastures and mountain pastures.
